This tutorial was written for those
that have a working knowledge of PSP.
Supplies Needed:
PSP 9 (any version will work)
Tube of choice
I used artwork by Rion Vernon

Scrap kit of choice or the one I am using by Nit Wit collections - Winter Wishes you can purchase here

Trees by Rainbow Coffi
Font of choice - I am using 'Water Brush Rob'
Filter used - Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow

Let's get started
Open up Rachel's template-image canvas size 800 x 600
Close off the copyright info layer
Select the grey circle layer-selections-select all-float-defloat
Open up Rainbow Coffi's trees-copy and paste this onto your canvas
Arrange over the selected circle-selections-invert-hit delete-do not deselect yet
Selections-invert-select the grey circle layer-new raster layer-flood fill this white
Selections-select none-select the grey circle layer again-edit-copy-paste as new image
We will need this later on
Back to your tag-colorize the trees if desired
Select the white circle layer-selections-select all-float-defloat-new raster layer
Flood fill this with colour of choice-close off the white circle layer-selections-select none
Now select the grey rectangle layer-selections-select all-float-defloat
Choose a paper from the kit-resize-copy and paste onto your canvas
Arrange over the selected area-selections-invert-hit delete-selections-select none
Add drop shadow to this layer 0, 0, 40, 4.00 black
Close off the grey rectangle layer
Now select the snow word layer-using the magic wand-select the letters S, N, W
Choosing a different paper from the kit-resize-copy and paste over the selected letters
Selections-invert-hit delete-do not deselect just yet
Selections-invert-selections-modify-expand by 2.00
New raster layer-flood fill this with white-selections-select none
Move this white layer below the letters-drop shadow 1, 1, 30, 3.00 black
Select the snow layer again-using the magic wand-click the snowflake to select it
New raster layer-flood fill this with colour of choice
Selections-modify-expand by 2.00-new raster layer-flood fill white
Selections-select none-move this white snowflake layer below your coloured snowflake layer
Repeat above drop shadow
Add any other elements from the kit-repeating above drop shadow
Copy and paste your tube of choice-add drop shadow
Using a font of choice-add your name to the tag-see above for placement
Rotate left by 15.00-click ok-convert to raster
Add the filter gradient glow to your name-glow width 3.00
On the color tab-select Fat-click ok-drop shadow 1, 1, 40, 4.00 black
Add proper copyright info then crop your tag
Open up the snow tube supplied-you will see it has 10 layers
Remember the grey circle we pasted as new image earlier-copy and paste that onto the snow canvas
Selections-select all-float-defloat-selections-invert
Select the frame 1 layer the one at the very bottom of the layer pallette-hit delete
Select each of the snow layers and hit delete on each one
Selections-select none-delete the grey circle layer
Now you will see all the snow layers are circles-makes sure all the layers are closed
All except the very bottom layer-select this layer
Edit-copy-open up AS then paste as new animation
Back to psp-close this bottom layer off then un X the next layer up and select it
Edit-copy-back in AS then paste after current frame
Back to PSP repeat the above until you have all 10 snow layers in AS
In AS-edit-select all
Back in PSP-close off all layers all except the white background, rectangle layer,
circle layers and the tree layer-with these layers open
Edit-copy-in AS paste as new animation-duplicate until you have 10 frames
Edit-select all-select the snow frames-edit copy-select your tag frames
Edit-paste into selected frame-now arrange the snow circle over the trees
It should fit just perfect
Now back to PSP-close off the above layers and reopen the rest
Edit-copy-in AS paste as new animation-duplicate until you have 10 frames
Edit-select all-edit-copy-select the frames we just added the snow too
Edit-paste into selected frame-arrange this as you have it in PSP
Making sure you have everything aligned ok
Once happy with the alignment-view animation
If everything is ok then save your tag as .gif
