that have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:
PSP 9 (any version will work)
Moon and wolf image the one I used I got from here
Also you will need a forest image too
Textureht11 which you can get from
here
New Moon images which you can google for

Fonts used:

Times New Roman
Carpenter

Filters used:

Flaming Pear - Atherize

I learnt to blend years ago through some fantastic tutorial sites which are not around anymore unfortunately
This is just a guide you can add different filters, brushes etc whatever looks best to you - experiment a little :0)
I have some other examples at the bottom of this tutorial

Let's get started

New canvas 600 x 250 flood fill with black

Open up your moon and wolf image of choice
Resize this-copy and paste onto your canvas
Arrange to the right of your canvas-lower the opacity to around 30

Open up a image of Jacob-resize-on your layer palette-right click-then promote background to layer
Using your freehand selection tool-draw around part of your image

Selections-modify-feather-change the number of pixels to around 15-20
Click ok-then hit delete a couple of times to get rid of the background

Selections-select none
Select your erase tool-use the following settings

Now to clean it up abit by erasing any remaining background that is close to your image
I cleaned up the area near his neck-dont worry if you erase some of the image

Repeat the feather technique for the remaining part of your image if needed
Once you have got rid of the background-copy and paste your image onto your canvas
Arrange this over your moon image-lower the opacity to around 30
Open up your texture-adjust-hue and saturation-colorize-hue 148-sat 136
Copy and paste this onto your canvas-move this layer so its just above your black background

You may notice you will see the edge of your moon/wolf image if thats the case
Play about with the blend mode so the edge blends in with the texture
I have mine on screen but dodge looks good also

Open up your forest image-resize if needed-copy and paste over to your canvas
Make sure this layer is just above your texture layer
Change the blend mode to multiply or whatever looks best

Select your Jacob image-duplicate-on the duplicated layer
Adjust-blur-gaussian blur-radius 3.00-change the blend mode to soft light
Effects-plugins-flaming pear-atherize-temporal-click ok
Open up your image of Jacob and Bella-repeat the feather technique as above to remove the background
Once happy with your image-copy and paste this onto your canvas
Arrange as above-duplicate-on the duplicated layer-adjust-blur-gaussian blur-radius 3.00
Change the blend mode to soft light-on the original layer change the blend mode to luminance (L)
Still on the original layer add drop shadow of 0, 0, 40, 10.26 white

I next used an image of Jacob in wolf form-I resized this image then arranged this above the forest layer
Lower the opacity to around 40-change the blend mode to soft light-if you see the edge of the image grab the erase tool
Same settings as above to smooth away the edges and blend in with the rest of your images

You may add a image of Edward if you wish-if so use the same feather technique as above
Once happy add this to your canvas-play about with the blend mode settings to get the best look
Then lower the opacity to around 20

Select your top layer-foreground null-background white
Preset shape-rectangle-draw out a horizontal rectangle about the width of mine above
Convert to raster-then lower the opacity to around 20
Using a font of choice-I am using Times New Roman
Add any words of choice-convert to raster-change the blend mode to overlay
Drop shadow 1, 1, 30, 3.00 black

Merge visible your layers-selection tool-rounded rectangle
Draw out a rectangle just abit smaller than your canvas
Selections-invert hit delete-keep selected for now
Selections-invert-selections-modify-select selection borders-border width 4
New raster layer-flood fill the selected border with #e2e2e2
Selections-select none-change the blend mode to overlay

Add any credit for the images you used

Using a font of choice-I am using Carpenter
Add your name then change the blend mode-I changed mine to soft light
But play about and see what works best for you
Add drop shadow of 1, 1, 30, 3.00 black

Save your blend as .png

Thanks for trying my tutorial. I hope you have enjoyed it
